All the research papers included in this book were prepared during the four-day workshop. However, preliminary work on identifying suitable topics and developing conceptual framework was done on all the research papers before the workshop. The book has 15 chapters. The first chapter of the book dealt in detail with the basics of how to write a research paper. It provides a conceptual framework - literature review, setting objectives, selecting methodology, presenting results, supporting the result through discussions and writing references. The remaining 14 chapters are sample papers displaying application of the concepts presented in the first chapter of the book. These research papers are based on different topics selected from different functional areas of management or on integration of functional areas and organizations. This book is targeted towards academic as well as practitioner audience. It is also suitable for the experienced researchers and practitioners as it has enough material that can be used as a ready reference by both these groups.
